She sighs a bit. This never gets easy, but she's gotten practiced at wording apologies over the years. It's important to her to set a good example for her kids.

"I shouldn't have shot down your idea about the app so bluntly, you were trying to help, just like the rest of us. I was so caught up in getting a plan figured out fast that I didn't think about how rude I was being. So," she pauses here, and spells out S-O-R-R-Y with her fingers in sign language, "I'm sorry. I hope to do better when we work together next time."
