She lets him take the position at the top of the rocks, amused at how excited he is about these sea lions. Every now and then the sea lions bark at each other.

While he's preoccupied, she takes a minute to look at the collar on his neck, trying to figure out why the water behaved so strangely around it before. She's seen a lot of weird stuff in her day so she's not really perturbed, but she IS curious.
