Seth was extremely surprised when Zafika actually referred to Abigail as she rather than it, mirroring him. And honestly it warmed his heart, a lot.

"I'm really glad and, thank you, I can't remember if anyone's ever actually referred to her as anything but 'it' before...I appreciate it."

His mood seemed to drop though as he began to think about their situation again.

"I know...and that's part of why it's so terrifying...usually only a couple, at most a handful, survive. Sure there have been the rare occasion only two or so have died but...those are very much the exception. I don't want to die...I don't want to fight, it's scary...All it brings it hurts."

Seth hunches in his seat, frowning and clutching Abigail tighter.
