"Everyone has their own story, whether they're the protagonist or some measly side character, and people want to hear yours!"

Post a top-level comment in reply to this one with your character's name in the subject line and a one-liner introduction. Sit back and relax while the other characters line up to ask you questions. Play your character from where they are now, or specify what sort of change has occurred in the subject of your reply when you tag! (i.e. Gyre, but he can eat meat. Rory, but she's grumpy all the time. Luka, but he's a YouTube gamer. You get the picture!)

All interactions that occur in these threads are considered non-canon. If a question occurs that you would like to declare a canon interaction, both players must agree.

So tell me, how badly do you want to go on a luxury vacation with you and your family?

[He swears in wild elf language when they appear, jumping away from them in surprise and throwing his hands in the air]

Where did you come from! Don't do that!

[ One second, they're there, the next second they're beside him again. How are they appearing out of nowhere over and over again? This time they're moving in to shake his hand. ]

Don't keep me waiting, what do you think?

[He reaches past their hand, grabbing hold of their shitty salesman bowtie and trying to hold them still with this nasty glare]

Stop it. I think you're weird and there's a catch.

[ They are immediately held still! They hold their hands up in a pacifying gesture. ]

Oh no, I am of course weird but there's no catch at all!

[He wrinkles his nose, but releases them after a moment]

I'm not interested anyway. I'm happy where I am.

Wouldn't you prefer to do that with a wide open view of the ocean, with nothing but the soft breeze of ocean air wafting over you? [ Leaning in!! Smiling! ]

[ The record stops. ]

Dear me, you're mistaken! You would not be on a beach, you would be on a luxury cruise ship!

[He physically recoils at the word luxury, nose wrinkling so hard his face is basically a single, large wrinkle]

[ Four stares. Their now-forced smile looks like it belongs on someone who is barely keeping their shit together. ]

HOW! Can you not know what luxury means! Sparkling chandeliers! Exquisite decorations! High-end, quality furniture! Breathtaking views! Impeccable experiences!! Why, can't you feel the draw towards your dreams? [ They look on at him, breathing heavily before they "ahem" to try to compose themselves. ]

Luxury. Better than everything else.

[What an unpleasant person! As if he cares about furniture and decorations!! As if physical objects have any part of his dreams!]

Ch, you're all the same. You find me a chair that can replace a quiet night with my family, and maybe I'd be interested. [He rolls his eyes, waving dismissively at them. Get out of his face, you fuckin capitalist]

A quiet night with your family in a luxury environment! An experience like no other!! [ They exclaim, sounding more desperate with each word. ]

It is unthinkable to deny yourself a good time!

I'm not. You're not offering anything appealing.

You! [ They exclaim, bunching up like sheets in the laundry for a moment before visibly deflating. ]

Fine! Go play in the dirt! [ They huff before turning away to stomp off. ]

Well I suppose it's not as if my business could ONLY happen thanks to modern technology... Matchmaking services absolutely predate the internet. Still, they're nothing on the same scale. We can bring together people who would never have had any chance to otherwise meet previously!
